I am an annoying walking companion because if I spot a Little Free Library, I make a beeline for it, abruptly crossing streets mid-conversation, mid-sentence.
It’s not just the possibility of scoring a new-to-me book, it’s seeing what confluence of books has washed up together on this particular street corner at this particular moment.
What were the donors willing to shed or what did they need to leave behind? I wonder who stops to browse, finding something they needed or had always wanted.
I don’t usually take a book - I have plenty at home - but I see so many books that I hope other people will pick up.
So the idea for this Post-It notes/IG project was born. It’s a way to leave a recommendation and make my daily perusal of LFL’s have a reason.
A project! So if you found one, and looked this site up out of curiosity, welcome! I hope you found a good book.
